Most of the UX design evolves around few major components such as Wireframe and Prototype Design. However, there is a lot to think while designing a UX for enhanced usability. Among a number of other essentials, here we shall discuss some of the major components of UX also known as UX Design Documents. Going behind these approaches would allow web designers to understand the users and will ensure the success of the design.
Identity or Persona:-
Personas in UX design are some fictional characters used in the design to relate the accessibility of your content to an ideal user. It also determines your identity. Personas in web design often include personal details with more descriptive information than usually sought by the user. These are also useful in analyzing what user feels about the design.
Some crucial components that determine persona are:-
- Images- An image can be a powerful tool for persona through graphic design. One can make use of faces to directly relate them as an end user.
- Profile- It includes demographic information viz. Name, age et/span>
- Personality– Depending on the type of company, the choice of personality may differ. This can be used to specify the type or personality of the user depending on their characters.
Empathy Map- Empathy maps can be useful in website UX while initiating the design process. The primary task is to analyse the product requirement once the user research process is accomplished. Here we describe a general format for empathy map.
- Thoughts- It tails around the common thought that users bear in their minds. A good idea is to use general quotes that can generate into the user’s mind.
- Actions- It involves the study of user’s behaviour in general and assist them with useful navigation choices. It makes use of user’s emotions.
User Scenario- It is basically about how to tell the user a story. A user scenario is about narrating story to the user by including details on how a system might actually be interpreted, experienced, and used.
A useful user scenario can be represented through a short story. It can define the actual context of the product being portrayed. It answers a number of general questions such as, ‘who is the user’ and ‘what are their goals’ etc.
Following this practice will ensure the reality of the scenario through the use of expressions and wordings that are commonly used by the user.
