Design thinking defines People
We can say it summarised into the steps-People, brainstorming and iteration. When we focus on problems that people have and can think of ideas we want, we can draw something impressive. To assure an innovative product, we have to iterate enough on proposed solutions, to get positive feedback from target audiences. It is important to gather knowledge about the target audience.
Design Thinking is not just a topic to read, but it has a practical implication in our lives, whether you are a businessman, bureaucrat, we use this approach to solve everyday problems. This terminology is simply a synonym of solving problems. Design Thinking draws conclusions after understanding the problem. It evolves solutions on inference from the perspective of a person.
Design Thinking-Meaning
It is a human-centric process to create and generate meaning and useful solutions. In simple words, you can say-common sense approach. It means design thinking aims to focus on a person’s needs, wants, goals, desires in order to prepare a creative and unique solution. It should give a creative, innovative and competitive advantage solution.
Design thinking process comprises of six different stages- Emphasize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test, Implement.
1) Empathize-Research around the people to whom you are trying to help. As what they do, say, think or feel.
That’s how we can actively think about their requirements. We need to gather enough data points no over the top information required.
2) The aim is to define the innate need of the user. Research and draw the in hand problem. How to improve
to meet the expectation or current problem scenarios.
3) Ideate-Here creativity starts, it requires brainstorming and out of the box thinking. You don’t need to be an artist,
it’s just to let loose with all the possibilities.
4) Prototype-The purpose of prototyping is to get feedback on which part of the idea need to rework, improve, and to
eliminate the unwanted or extra parts. The quick and dirty prototype is encouraged to get smaller, shorter feedback loops.
5) Test-Once a few version of the prototype is ready, get it to test by target groups of people. Adapt prototype based on
their feedbacks and get it as perfect as possible.
6) Implement-Once you and audience are satisfied with the quality of promoted solutions, make it happen and make it real.
Let the magic reaches to many doors of people.
Advantages-
For starters, it focuses on actual problems and needs of people. It solves real problems instead of imaginary or assumed. It builds a team on the ground of thinking and innovative team members can think flexibly to conclude aesthetic product.
Conclusion-
A problem-solving approach is a basic idea behind design thinking. It helps to come up with the innovative and competitive solution. For instance, it can help you to build the best GAME. It has a flexible agenda “Must try it whenever the problem comes your way.”
